POSTNATAL FITNESS
WITH FEMALE personal training
After nine months of pregnancy your body will feel very different. It can leave you feeling heavy, exhausted and unfit. Personal training is the safest and most efficient way of regaining your pre-pregnancy body shape.
Sessions will be 45 minutes long. Emily offers a home service so you and baby can exercise in the comfort of your own home. Emily will make sure you listen to your body, feel good and energised. Emily can help correct any posture issues and help with any postnatal issues such as diastasis recti or pelvic floor weakness.
Along with exercise, Emily can help you with your nutritional needs. Making sure you are eating the right foods to fuel your body. If you are breastfeeding, she will make sure that your diet has enough calories, healthy fats and good carbs.
Emily is prenatal and postnatal qualified; her expertise will ensure you are provided with safe and effective training programmes, correctly addressing your physical needs and keeping you motivated and monitored every step of the way.
Your baby is welcome to be there during our sessions. In fact, Emily encourages the baby to be present; it is a lovely way to bond and set a healthy example. With a little girl of her own Emily can relate to new mums.
If you have had a natural birth you can exercise after 6 weeks, once you have had your check-up with your GP. If you’ve had a c-section, you will need to wait until after 8-12 weeks, and get clearance from your GP with a note to say you are fit to exercise.
